Eldor R. Pflughoeft


LAND O’ LAKES, Wis. — A memorial service for Eldor R. Pflughoeft, 94, Watersmeet, Mich., will be held Sunday, June 23, at 1 p.m. at Hope Lutheran Church, U.S. 45 North, Land O’ Lakes.

Visitation will be from noon to 1 p.m.

Eldor died on Feb. 15, 2013, in Augusta, Ga., where he had gone to spend the winter.

Mr. Pflughoeft was preceded in death by Adah, his wife of 70 years.

He is survived by four children, Diane (Paul) James, Grovetown, Ga., Rev. Mark (Susie) Pflughoeft, DeMotte, Ind., Rex (Barb) Pflughoeft, Watersmeet, and Rebecca (Jay) Shifra, Watersmeet; 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; one sister; and three nephews.

Mr. Pflughoeft was the band director for the Wakefield school system from 1967-1980. He and his wife also owned the Dari-Maid in Land O’Lakes from 1966-1974.
