NEENAH, Wis. — Joseph B. Younger, 63, of Neenah, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family Thursday, July 18, 2013.
He was born Jan. 17, 1950, son of the late Joseph and Mildred (Cayer) Younger, in the Gogebic Range area.
On Aug. 14, 1971, Joe married his sweetheart, Mary Benson. Together they loved traveling, especially to Mexico and Florida. Joe loved being outside in the sunshine, camping and taking care of his beloved flowers on his deck garden. While outside, he loved to help his daughter wash and wax their cars. Joe enjoyed going out to eat with his family. He liked nothing better than a good piece of prime rib.
Joe is survived by his wife of 41 years, Mary; his daughter, Nicole (Nick) Lashua; a brother, Dennis; and sisters- and brothers-in-law, Judy (Peter) Kaul, Bonnie (Gerald) Muhonen, Sharon (Jack) Delanty and Robert Benson.
Joe was preceded in death by his grandparents; parents; his stepmother, Enrica (DeFerro) Younger; and good friend, Dewey Lashua.
Memorial services will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday, July 24, at the Kessler Funeral Home, 304 S. Commercial St., Neenah, with the Rev. Richard Allen officiating.
Visitation will be at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4 p.m. until the time of the service.
A memorial has been established.

We would also like to extend a special “thank you” to our wonderful neighbor friends who have helped us since Brian had his transplant with outside work, a meal or a visit.
