Bruce W. Ackley

ELKHORN, Wis. — Bruce W. Ackley, 54, of Lake Geneva, died Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013, at the Aurora Lakeland Medical Center, Elkhorn.

Bruce was born Nov. 13, 1958, in Elkhorn, the son of Robert and Shirley Schiebe Ackley. He graduated from Badger High School with the class of 1976.

He was united in marriage with Darla K. Aspinwall, formerly of the Gogebic Range area, on July 5, 1991, in Elkhorn.

Surviving are his wife, Darla; sons, Christopher Ackley, of Illinois, and Cory, of Lake Geneva; and a sister, Cynthia Mangold, of Pell Lake.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Kathy Ackley.

Services will be held Saturday, Sept. 21, at noon at the Steinke Funeral Home, Lake Geneva, with the Rev. Bob Kamps of the Como Community Church, Lake Como, officiating.

Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to the time of the services.
