Blood drive nets 74 pints, support appreciated

The American Red Cross blood drive on Sept. 25 in Ironwood received 74 pints of blood, which are now available for patients in need at approximately 3,000 hospitals in our community and across the nation.

They send their sincere appreciation for everyone who supported the blood drive, especially to Anders Lyle Johnson, who received his 10-gallon donation pin.

The next American Red Cross blood drive at the Ironwood Memorial Building will be Dec. 18 from noon to 6 p.m. Call me, Betsy Slabough, at 906-932-5478 for more information or to set up an appointment. Walk-ins are always welcome.
