CHAUTAUQUA, N.Y. — James Trethewey, 69, of Cleveland, formerly of Ironwood, Mich., passed away suddenly Sunday, Oct. 13, 2013, at his home in Chautauqua.
Jim retired after 35 years of service to Cleveland-Cliffs.
He was the beloved husband of Dolores (Clark) and the late Suzann M. (Heczko); loving father of Suzann Creech, Nicole (Jon) Rawling and Nicki Trethewey; stepfather of Carrie (Bob) Barnett and Joseph (Mary) Olah; grandfather of Nicholas, Matthew, Gillian, Julia, Suzann, Kevin, Benjamin and Suzannah; brother of Ron (Carol), of Ironwood; son-in-law of Lucy Clark; brother-in-law of Carolyn Piccola; and beloved uncle of nieces and nephews.
A funeral service is set for Saturday, Oct. 19, at 10:30 a.m. at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 28455 Center Ridge Road, Westlake OH 44145.
Friends may call at Chambers Funeral Home, 29150 Lorain Road, North Olmsted, Ohio, today, Thursday, Oct. 17, from 6 to 8 p.m., and Friday, Oct. 18, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.
