TEACHERS AT Washington Elementary School in Bessemer receive a donation from Walmart in Ironwood. Assistant manager Amy Leoni handed out 20 $50 gift cards to be used for classroom supplies and nutritious snacks as part of an annual corporate project in its sixth year. Each year, the store holds a drawing between Hurley, Bessemer and Wakefield-Marenisco schools and All Saints Catholic Academy in Ironwood to determine who will receive the donation.
