OCONTO FALLS, Wis. - Marion J. Vaughn, 81, Crivitz resident, passed away Sunday, Dec. 8, 2013, at Meadowlands Retirement Community in Oconto Falls.
Marion was born to the late Leonard and Hazel (White) Scheels on Jan. 29, 1932, in Mercer.
She married Kenneth Vaughn Sr. in Mercer. The couple resided in Crivitz, where she was employed by the Crivitz School District as an elementary school teacher until retirement.
She loved spending time with her family and friends.
Surviving are two daughters, Cheryl (Charles) Kopplin, of Davisburg, Mich., and Cindy (Jerry) Cho, of Oconto Falls, and two sons, Kenneth Jr. (Ellen) Vaughn, of Marinette, and Charles Vaughn, of Crivitz; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one sister, Janet (Bob) Kaas, and one brother, Jack (Jackie) Scheels, both of Crivitz.
Friends may call at the Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Crivitz, Saturday, Dec. 14, from 9:30 a.m. until time of service at 11:30 a.m., with the Rev. Jerry Cho officiating.
