ANN ARBOR, Mich. - John D. Kleimola, 53, son of Donald and Frances Kleimola, entered eternal life on Jan. 17, 2014, in Ann Arbor.
He was born on July 12, 1960, in Detroit, graduated from Luther L. Wright High School, Ironwood, in 1978, was a U.S. Navy veteran, and was mostly self-employed throughout the years.
He is survived by his parents, Donald (Karen), of Ramsay, and Frances, of Ann Arbor; sister, Lorraine (Lorri) Baird; nephew, Keith Baird; niece, Alyssia Baird (Jeremy Culp); grandniece, Lindsay; and grandnephew, Jace.
Also surviving are his daughter, Danielle, and her mother, Kathy Ganga, her brothers, Matthew, Joey and Mark, and Mark's daughter, Lilly, all of whom respected John; and his stepsister, Jean (Howard) Ward.
John was preceded in death by his sister, Catherine; brother-in-law, Daniel Baird; niece and nephew, twins Carolyn and Michael; all his grandparents; and numerous aunts and uncles.
Cremation has taken place.
A memorial service in John's honor will take place at Cornerstone Christian Church in Ramsay on Friday, July 11, 2014, with the Rev. Todd Winkler and the Rev. Roy Speck officiating.
