Regina M. Laguna

GILE, Wis. - Regina M. Laguna (nee LaSota), 91, passed away quietly Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2014, at her home, with her grandson and grandchildren at her side. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend.

She was married for more than 60 years to Phillip "Chucka" Laguna, who preceded her in death on Dec. 28, 2004.

Surviving are her son, Phillip (Glyniss); three daughters, Donna (Bill) Carlson, Bernadette (Michael) Baldovin and Maxine Sands; a sister, Phyllis Johnson; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Special gratitude to her caregivers Maxine, Carrie, Glyniss and her nurse, Gretchen.

There will be no service at Regina's request. Her body, as well as that of her late husband, were donated to medical research.

Arrangements were with McKevitt-Patrick Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Ironwood, Mich.
