IRONWOOD, Mich. — Judith Ann Hebert, 53, of Ironwood, died Monday, Jan. 27, 2014, at home.
She was born Oct. 24, 1960, in Wakefield, daughter of the late Robert and Geraldine (Schmaltz) Anderson. Judy attended Ironwood schools, graduating from the Luther L. Wright High School with the class of 1978. She had worked at Westgate Nursing Home for 22 years.
Judy is survived by one son, Robert (Jessica) Anderson, of Iron River, Mich.; two grandchildren, Kayla and Jackson Anderson, both of Iron River; two sisters, June Double, of Ironwood, and Joyce Broemmeling, of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho; nephews and nieces, Kristy Livingston, Martin Stein, Melanie Stein and Cassy Double; and her best friend, her dog Dixie.
Cremation has taken place at the Range Crematory in Hurley, Wis.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Feb. 1, at 11 a.m. at the Ketola-Burla Funeral Home in Ironwood. The Rev. Kurt Kovanen will officiate.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
A luncheon will follow at Rigoni’s Inn in Ironwood.
Spring inurnment will be in the Riverside Cemetery in Ironwood.
