E-TC Quiz Bowl

The Ewen-Trout Creek Junior High Quiz Bowl teams competed in a tournament at Bark River on Dec. 7, 2013. E-TC students split into two teams. Team Yellow (Chase Woof, Lexus Alinen, Gentry Brand and Brooke Perttu) went 2-3 on day, while Team Green (Jacob Witt, Selena Dix, Zach Livingston, Gracie Witt and Paige Berglund) was 0-5. Neither team made it to the semifinals, but school officials said they had "a great time" and were thankful for the money given from the Community Youth Enrichment Team for their dinner and admission fees. The E-TC contigent includes, from left: coach and science teacher Laura Erhart, Gentry Brand, Selena Dix, Jacob Witt, Lexus Alinen, Gracie Witt, Paige Berglund, Brooke Perttu, Chase Woof, Zach Livingston, and coach and science/math teacher Marcus Re.
