WATERSMEET - The Nimrods celebrated Dr. Seuss's 110th birthday in comfort on March 7.

Watersmeet School students and their parents were invited to spend the morning in their pajamas at school reading their favorite Dr. Seuss stories.

The Title I program helped sponsor the event which organizers called "a success."

Students and parents ate doughnuts and designed their favorite pair of pajamas. Parents judged the pajama design drawings and one winner from each grade received a We Read book.

Organizers also thanked the parents who participated.
