ENTRANTS OF DOVE's fifth annual Creative Art Contest at the Hurley School pose on Feb. 11 at the school. This year's contest sponsored by Domestic Violence Escape Inc. of Ironwood focused on how adolescents interpret what a world without violence looks like, Iron County case manager Malinda Peterson said. Pictured are, from left: Brett Daniels, Peterson, first place winner Mariah Aspinwall, second place winner Dana Brown, third place winner Mikayla Sobrack and art teacher Terry Davis. The winning pieces and other entries are on display at the school. "DOVE would like to thank Terry Davis, Brett Daniels and the entire Hurley School for their participation and support to DOVE Inc. and ending domestic violence throughout our community," Peterson said.
