Mercer Lions club holds annual egg hunt

Multiple events upcoming for Mercer Lions club

egg hunt at the Mercer School Saturday morning.

According to club member Dave Minisan, this is the 11th year the Mercer Lions have held the egg hunt.

Children of preschool age to 12 years old and their families were welcome to attend the event, and searched the school for brightly colored, hidden eggs.

Attendees also received cookies and a stuffed animal to take home. All the baskets and candy for the event were donated by Minisan and his wife Louise.

Other activities included cookies and stuffed animals.

"This is just one of the many community services we provide," Lions member Bill Altman said. "This is payback for the families that support the Lions."

In addition to the egg hunt, the group will also host a golf outing on July 25, participate in Loon Day on Aug. 6 and a duck race fundraiser the first Saturday in August.
