Roselyn F. 'Rosie' Brozzo

MERCER, Wis. — Roselyn F. “Rosie” Brozzo, 70, of Mercer, died Monday, April 28, 2014, at home.

She was born Nov. 25, 1943, in Wakefield, Mich., daughter of the late Bernard and Isabelle (Goodenow) Brozzo, and attended Marenisco, Mich., schools. She lived in Milwaukee and California prior to moving to Mercer in 1973, where she was employed at Simpson Electric up until the time of her death.

Rosie was a former member of the Mercer Lioness. She enjoyed traveling, snowmobiling and rummage sales.

Surviving are a son, Billy Brozzo, Brainard, Minn .; brother, Ronald (Valerie) Brozzo, San Anselmo, Calif .; sister, Bernadine Kirkley, Muskego; 11 nieces and nephews; 15 great-nieces and -nephews; numerous cousins; and a host of friends.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles and Donald Brozzo; and a sister, Isabelle Brozzo.

Per Rosie’s wishes, cremation has taken place.

A memorial gathering for family and friends will be held Friday, May 2, from 6 to 8 p.m., with a time for sharing of memories at 7:30 p.m., at the McKevitt-Patrick Funeral Home, 305 N. Lowell St., in Ironwood, Mich.

Private interment will be in Lakeside Cemetery, Wakefield, at a later date.
