Brenda Lee Sabec

WAKEFIELD, Mich. — Brenda Lee Sabec, 50, of Wakefield, went to be with her parents in Heaven at 5:37 a.m., on Friday, May 2, 2014.

Brenda, a baptized child of God, was born on Oct. 9, 1963, in Ironwood, the daughter of Donald Michael and Dorothy Alvina (Brownell) Sabec.

Her hugs will be missed by so many; she was truly “God’s Special Angel.”

Brenda is survived by five siblings, Donald R. Sabec, Bessemer, Carolyn M. Sabec, Ironwood, Bonnie (Jim) Kaseno, Wakefield, Theresa (Oscar) Rosendahl, Duluth, Minn., and Kathie (Douglas) Brady, Wakefield; many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; and countless friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to Brenda’s home, at 320 Johnson Road, Wakefield, to join the family in a celebration of her life, on Wednesday, May 7, beginning at noon. The Rev. Fr. Antony Lukka, pastor of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Wakefield will offer a prayer at 1 p.m., with a farewell dinner to follow.

“I feel the warmth around me like your presence is so near and I close my eyes to visualize your face when you were here. I enjoyed the times we spent together and they are locked inside my heart; we will never be apart. Even though we cannot speak anymore, your voice is always there; because every night before I sleep, I have you in my prayers.” This was written by Louise Bailey.

Lakeside Memorial Chapel of Wakefield is assisting the family. Condolences may be expressed online at lakesidememorialchapel.com.
