Theodore William Thomas

WOODRUFF, Wis. - On May 7, 2014, Theodore William Thomas, "Ted," departed this life and went home.

Ted was born March 5, 1944, in Bessemer, Mich., to William and Ruby Thomas and was raised in Hurley. Ted was the youngest of six siblings.

Ted owned and operated Mr. Theo's Hair Salon in Woodruff and sold real estate for Century 21.

Ted's favorite hobby was cooking. He also enjoyed walking with his wife, Janny, and their two dogs Jack and Jill. He loved planning for vacations and especially liked cruising.

He is survived by his wife, Janny ("Lovie," "Poohbear," his "Everything"); his son, Jeff, whom he was extremely proud of, and Jeff's wife, Barbie; his grandson, Dylan, whom he loved and wanted the best for; and his brother, Jim Thomas, from Spokane, Wash.

We will miss his love, his friendship, his optimism towards life and his thick, curly, white, perfectly kept hair and contagious smile.

In lieu of flowers, all donations will be directed to the Boulder Junction Community Church. We would like to thank all the members of the church and community for their unconditional support.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 17, at 11 a.m. at Boulder Junction Community Church, with a visitation from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the church.
