Randall 'Randy' J. Robinson


ASHLAND, Wis. - Randall "Randy" J. Robinson, 63, of Ashland, passed away on Saturday, June 7, 2014, at his residence.

He was born March 4, 1951, in Ironwood, Mich., the son of Robby and Janet (Sunie) Robinson. Randy graduated from Hurley High School in 1969. He served four years in the U.S. Navy, stationed in Italy, and was honorably discharged in 1974.

He married Tina Secor in 1977 in Phoenix before moving back to northern Wisconsin. Randy worked at Chicago Iron and Supplies Inc. in Ashland for more than 20 years.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting and antiquing.

He is survived by a daughter, Rochelle Robinson, Redgranite; a granddaughter he loved dearly, Madalynn Clark, Redgranite; his mom, Jan Robinson, Hurley; two brothers, Joe (Jackye) Robinson, Mercer, and Paul Robinson, Hurley; a sister, Kathryn "Sweetie" (Roger) Vallejo, Hurley; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his dad; and a great-nephew, Spencer Robinson.

A celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, June 12, at Nora's Red Carpet Lounge in Hurley.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
