Tina Jo Ann (Pittsley) Benavides

PHOENIX, Ariz. — Tina Jo Ann (Pittsley) Benavides, 63, passed away from liver complications on May 31, 2014, at her residence in Phoenix.

Born in Washington, raised in Michigan, she spent much of her life in Wisconsin, Illinois, South Dakota and Arizona.

She is survived by her daughter, Victoria (Joseph) Stewart; and son, John (Dawn) Benavides. She was the proud grandmother of Alyssa, Quentin and Zia; and stepgrandmother of Gabriella and Alyssa. She was the dear daughter of Elaine and Robert Pittsley.

She is loved and survived by her sisters, Ora Lee (Phillip) Westie, Bobbie, twin Donna (John) Mercier, Rhonda McClure and Phyllis (Steve) Wallenius; and brothers, Dennis, Bruce (Sharon) and Norman (Sherry). She leaves behind numerous caring relatives and treasured friends.

Visitation will be held at the Mass City Community Center, 1502 Mass Ave., Mass City MI 49948, on Saturday, June 28, rom 11 a.m. EDT until the funeral service at noon EDT, with minister Mark Westie (nephew) officiating.

Family and friends are invited to stay for a luncheon directly following the service.

Forever in our hearts, she was the best mom, grandma and beloved sister. She will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
