SCOTT STEMPIHAR, 32, of Superior, Wis., and his son, Sam, 3, cross the finish line side-by-side at the 2014 Bessemer Hometown Run on Saturday morning. They finished the two mile run in 31.40. The annual event saw 276 runners registered.
