HOUGHTON, Mich. - Rose M. Hill, 77, a former resident of Arbor Green Senior Living Community and White Pine, passed away Monday evening July 7, 2014, at the Houghton County Medical Care Facility in Hancock, where she had been a resident patient for the past two years.
She was born on Nov. 29, 1936, in Detroit, a daughter of the late Willard and Lillian (Bakkila) Koskela. Rose was raised in Atlantic Mine and attended the local schools.
On April 19, 1953, she was united in marriage to Harlan Hill. The couple had resided in Detroit, Portage Entry and White Pine, where they raised four children...
