Paul D. Huntley

GREEN BAY, Wis. -Paul D. Huntley, 59, of Green Bay, left us too soon on Monday, July 7, 2014. He was born March 7, 1955, in Racine to Donald and Lillian (Stegelmann) Huntley.

Paul graduated from Southwest High School, Class of 1973 and went on to attend NTWC. On December 31, 1993, he married Diane Siebert.

Paul had two lifelong passions - music and electronics. He "lived" at Henri's Music from the age of 15 on. There is hardly a musician in the area that did not have contact with Paul. He also worked many years at Valley Scale and most recently, Northern Sound and Video. Paul was a talented musician and was in many bands throughout his life including, Shy Guys, Freedom Express, 2nd Century Band, Strawberry Hill, Road House, most recently, The Blue Rays. He even toured nationally with "White on White" where he had the opportunity to play on stage with Chaka Khan (while they were trapped in a hotel during a hurricane). Paul was an avid self-taught woodworker and had many other abilities, hobbies and interests, and shared them generously with others.

Paul is survived by his loving wife, Diane; his parents; brothers and sister-in-law, Bob and Terri Huntley and Bill Huntley. He is further survived by many other extended family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Sharon Huntley.

Paul lived an absolutely interesting life. Come celebrate Paul with us and share your stories at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, July 12.
