GREEN BAY, Wis. - Lynn (Salaj) Mezzano, 58, passed away Tuesday, July 8, 2014, at Aurora Healthcare in Green Bay after a long battle with cancer.
Lynn was born March 4, 1956 in Wakefield, Mich., to Leonard and Cisera (Filippi) Salaj.
She graduated from A.D. Johnston High School in 1974.
Lynn was employed as a courier for Federal Express for 24 years and for many years at the Oneida Casino. She enjoyed spending time withe her family and grandchildren.
Lynn is survived by two sons, Brandyn (Brenda), Justyn; daughter Karri (Marcus) Falkenberg, Appleton, Wis .; mother, Cisera Salaj, Bessemer, Mich .; brothers, Greg (Paula), Washburn, N.D., Philip Salaj and Dave (Mary) Salaj, both of Bessemer; one sister Lori (Dave) Furlott, Marquette, Mich .; and her grandchildren Kara, Kortney, Bryanna and Bella, of Seymour, Wis., and Jackson of Suamico, Wis.
A celebration of her life was held on July 15th at the Photenhauer Funeral Home in Suamico, with Father Gerald Prusakowski officiating.
Burial will be held at a later date at Hillcrest cemetery in Bessemer.
