MERRIWEATHER — Ardis D. Niemi, 79, of Merriweather, passed away peacefully at her home on Aug. 20, 2014.
She was born May 20, 1937, daughter of the late Sherman and Evelina Pendock.
On April 15, 1971, she married Daniel M. Niemi. He survives, along with an extended family.
Funeral services for Ardis will be held Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2014, at 11 a.m. at the Cane Funeral Home Bruce Crossing Chapel. Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
Burial will be in the Lakeview Cemetery in Bergland. A luncheon will follow at the Merriweather Town Hall.
Honorary pallbearers are David E. Niemi, Leonard Johnson Jr., David A. Niemi, Rod Ellsworth Sr., Ralph Fruik and Rod Ellsworth Jr.
