JEFFERON CITY, Mo. - Carmen Ann Seabury, 94, of Jefferson City, departed this life on Sept. 7, 2014.
She was born April 23, 1920, in Iron Belt, Wis., to Babista and Antonio DaRonco Gotta. They preceded her in death. She was united in marriage to Delmore Henry Seabury on Nov. 17, 1942, in New Orleans. He preceded her in death on Dec. 6, 2004.
Carmen was a graduate of Iron Belt High School. She was a homemaker most of her life and she enjoyed traveling and shopping, but her greatest love was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a member of St. Joseph Cathedral Church in Jefferson City.
Carmen is survived by a daughter, Gloria (Tim) Owen, of Jefferson City; sons, James (Lois) Seabury, of Wetmore, Mich., and Dennis "Rocky" Seabury, of Kaiser, Ore.; and eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by brothers, Joseph, John and Marco Gotta, and sister, Grace Maloney.
A memorial mass will be held at St. Joseph Cathedral Church at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 27, 2014, with Msgr. Robert Kurwicki officiating.
Interment will be at a later date in Iron Belt Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Samaritan Center, 1310 E. McCarty St., Jefferson City, MO 65101.
