HURLEY - Ironwood picked up its first win of the season with a 7-0 sweep of Hurley Tuesday.
Ironwood won every contest in two sets.
Close matches were had early on at No. 2 singles and No. 1 and 2 doubles, as Ironwood took a 3-2 lead in each set before Ironwood played more aggressively to finish out each set and match.
Despite Ironwood's edge, long points were played in all contests.
Ironwood (1-5) travels to West Iron County Tuesday.
