Raymond F. Potvin

MARQUETTE, Mich. — Raymond F. Potvin, Jr., 76, of Bergland, passed away Monday, Oct. 27, 2014, at the Norlite Nursing Center in Marquette.

He was born in Ashland, Wis., to Raymond Sr. and Etta (Christen) Potvin.

Raymond enjoyed fishing, collecting pocketknives and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his son, Gerald (Barbara) Potvin, of Palmer; grandsons, Jason (Jessica) and Gerald (Crystal) Potvin, of Palmer; great-grandchildren, Michael, Kayla, Aliyah, Dylan, Derek and David, all of Palmer; brother-in-law, Dennis Liquia, of Palmer; special friend, Tom Paulman, of Bergland; and several nieces and nephews.

Raymond was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Betty Liquia.

Visitation will be held Thursday, Oct. 30, 2014, from noon to 2 p.m. EDT at the Cane Funeral Home in Bruce Crossing.

Burial will follow at the Forest Lawn Cemetery in Bergland. The Cane Funeral Home-Bruce Crossing Chapel is assisting the family.
