Delores May 'Tookie' Zwick

WAKEFIELD, Mich. - Delores May "Tookie" Zwick, 72, a longtime resident of Wakefield, died Sunday, Nov. 30, 2014.

Delores was born on Feb. 18, 1942, in Merriweather, a daughter of Frank Oliver and Vera Idessa (Cook) Raymond. She attended Bergland High School and graduated in 1960.

On June 8, 1963, Delores was united in marriage to William Larue Zwick at St. Jude Catholic Church in White Pine.

She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Wakefield and its Women's Guild.

Tookie was an avid fan of Facebook and Club Pogo.

Delores is survived by two sons, William (Jenna), Kingsford, and Rickie, Wakefield; a daughter, Deborah Zwick, Wakefield; four grandchildren, Cody, Dale, Bailey and Tianna; two great-grandchildren, Ava and Noah; several brothers and sisters; numerous nieces and nephews; other loving relatives; and a host of friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William, on Nov. 15, 1999; an infant daughter, Marie Ann; and several siblings.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2014, from 10 to 11 a.m., at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Wakefield, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Fr. Antony Lukka as celebrant. Also in attendance will be the Immaculate Conception Women's Guild Honor Guard.

Following the Mass, refreshments will be served downstairs of church.

Rite of Committal and interment will take place at a later date in Lakeside Cemetery, Wakefield.
