Kenneth G. (Ken) McCauley

WINDSOR, Colo. - Kenneth G. (Ken) McCauley passed away on Feb. 6, 2015, in Windsor, after a protracted battle with pancreatic cancer. He leaves behind his two children, Heather McCauley and Kenneth H. McCauley, and his granddaughter, Brooklyn McCauley.

Ken was born on Aug. 23, 1952, in Huntington, W.V., to Leonard and Zelma McCauley. He grew up in a large family with three sisters and two brothers. He attended college for dental lab technology and owned his own dental labs, D & K Dental Lab and Black River Dental lab, for more than 30 years.

Ken was a driven professional with a love of the outdoors, laughing, artwork and being with his family. He loved his children and was very proud of their accomplishments, which included his daughter graduating from the University of Minnesota in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science in dental hygiene and in 2014 with a Master of Adult Education. His son, Kenny, graduated in 2004 from Alexandria Tech with his Associate Degree in small engine repair.

He is survived by his mother, Zelma McCauley; brothers, Vinnie McCauley and Christopher McCauley; as well as his sisters, Linda Trumpfellar, Donna Smith and Joyce Kethman. He is preceded in death by his father, Leonard McCauley.
