Michael James StVincent

ALOHA, Ore. — Michael James StVincent, 62, passed away unexpectedly on June 26, 2015, at his home in Oregon of heart disease.

He was born April 1, 1953, to Frank and Vi StVincent in Milwaukee, Wis. He was married previously to Marian Buck, and eventually remarried Brenda StVincent, whom he was married to for 33 years.

Michael attended Wakefield High School in Michigan. He was in the Michigan National Guard for six years, especially enjoying the two-week summertime drills for the camaraderie. Michael was in the steel industry for 37 years with the majority of those years spent at G.H. McCullough as Fabricator/Fitter Foreman.

Michael’s passion was automobiles. He enjoyed restoring automobiles, with a 1966 Mustang being worked on recently. Michael also enjoyed spending time with the family, and especially playing cards and video games with his grandchildren. He also attended all of the grandchildren’s athletic events. He was an amazing and supportive Grandpa, and he will be greatly missed.

Michael is survived by his mother, Vi StVincent of Wakefield, Mich .; brothers, Kevin (Elaine) StVincent of Bessemer, Mich., Brad (Judi) StVincent of Wisconsin, Gerald (Vickie) StVincent of Moses Lake, Wash .; a sister, Susan (Rick) Wainio of Wakefield; sons, Joshua StVincent of Portland, Ore., and Steven (Chris) StVincent of Menominee, Mich .; step-daughters, Robin (Joe) Farnsworth of Canby, Ore., Marla (David) Durant-McVean of Happy Valley, Ore., and Terri O’Shea of Clackamas, Ore .; grandchildren, Levi Brock, Chyna Brock; Quinten O’Shea, Brody Durant, Nicole (Shawn) Nelson, Jacob McVean, Zachary McVean and Gabriel McVean.

Michael was preceded in death by his father, Frank StVincent.

There will be a Celebration of Life held for Michael on Aug. 8, 2015, at Milo McIver State Park, Estacada, Ore., at the Maple Pavilion at 10:30 a.m.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to any high school with a shop program in his name.
