Cloe Dean Livingston

IRONWOOD, Mich. - Cloe Dean Livingston, 81, of Ironwood Township, died Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2015, at Westgate Nursing, Rehabilitation and Assisted Living Community in Ironwood.

The former Cloe Dean Mortensen was born Feb. 25, 1934, in Hurley, Wis., daughter of the late John and Signa (Peterson) Mortensen, and attended J.E. Murphy High School.

She was married to Robert L. Livingston on June 30, 1951, at the First Presbyterian Church in Hurley, by the late Rev. C.L. Harries. Bob preceded her in death on Oct. 13, 2008.

Cloe Dean was employed as a certified nurse's assistant at Hautamaki's Nursing Home in Ironwood and worked in a drugstore in Waukegan, Ill. She enjoyed visiting the casinos, watching her black and white movies, and had all of the James Bond series memorized.

Surviving are a son, Michael, White Bear Lake, Minn .; numerous nieces and nephews; and brothers- and sisters-in-law, Richard (Margaret) Livingston, Pat Livingston, Betty Rondeau and Sharon Charles (Dave Bouillion), all of Hurley, Linda Rahko, Erwin Township, and Tina Kummer, Ironwood.

Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by sisters, Mildred (Paul) Suzik, Lorraine (Joseph) Laurich, Leone (Ike) Niemi, Gladys Penrose and Beryl (Wayne) Moeller; and brothers- and sisters-in-law, Donald Livingston, Gerald "Jerry" Livingston, Gladys (Charles) Elsila, Richard Rondeau, Alan "Jim" Charles and Willie Rahko.

Out of respect for Cloe Dean's wishes, cremation has taken place.

A private memorial luncheon will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Arthritis National Research Foundation, 200 Oceangate, Suite 830, Long Beach, CA 90802.
