DULUTH, Minn. - JoAnn M. Kuklinski, 75, of Ironwood, Mich., died peacefully Sunday afternoon, Dec. 6, 2015, at Essentia Health-St. Mary's Medical Center in Duluth, with her loving family by her side.

The former JoAnn Buddle was born March 23, 1940, in Ironwood, daughter of the late John and Mabel (Goodwin) Buddle, and was raised in Gile, Wis., graduating from J.E. Murphy High School in Hurley, Wis., in 1959. She tended bar at the Rainbow Gardens in downtown Ironwood, waitressed at the Uptown Café for many years, and retired as bartender/manager at Kilroy's in Ironwood.

JoAnn was a member of the former St. Michael's Catholic Church in Ironwood. She loved spending time with her family and grandchildren.

On Aug. 10, 1963, she was united in marriage to Lloyd J. Kuklinski at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Hurley by the late Msgr. Michael Prock. Lloyd preceded her in death on June 27, 1996.

Surviving are her daughter, Tina (Bart) Vukelich, Ironwood; two grandchildren, Jamie Vukelich (Kellop), Clarksville, Tenn., and Mark Vukelich (Kasye), Ironwood; two great-grandchildren, Davin and Adriana, and one great-granddaughter on the way; a brother, Dean Buddle, Rapid River, Mich .; sister, Barbara Welch, Las Vegas; sisters-in-law, Mary Kuklenski, Hatley, Wis., and Monica Kuklenski, Moorhead, Minn .; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents and husband, JoAnn was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard and Gordon Buddle; and a sister, Gracie Brace.

Out of respect for her wishes, cremation has taken place.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, Dec. 15, at 11 a.m., preceded by visitation at 10 a.m., at McKevitt-Patrick Funeral Home, 305 N. Lowell St., in Ironwood, with the Rev. Frank Kordek OFM, pastor of St. Mary's Church in Hurley, officiating.

Luncheon will follow at Manny's in Ironwood.

Private committal and interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Ironwood.
