Irma A. Dossetto

WAKEFIELD, Mich. - Irma A. Dossetto, 86, a lifelong resident of Wakefield, passed away peacefully Saturday, Jan. 30, 2016.

Irma was born on May 28, 1929, in Wakefield, a daughter of Battista and Carmelina (Bordano) Dossetto. She attended Wakefield High School and graduated in 1946.

Irma worked as a bank teller for many years and retired from The First National Bank of Wakefield.

She was an enthusiastic fan of the Green Bay Packers, loved gardening, was an avid reader, enjoyed knitting and had several dearly beloved pets.

Irma is survived by a sister, Matilda Boller, Wakefield; her sister-in-law, Dessie Dossetto, Novi; two nephews, Bob (Geri) Dossetto, Marquette, and Steven Dossetto, Novi; two nieces, Barbara Boller, Wakefield, and Diane (Greg) Meisser, Novi; a great-niece; and seven great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, John Dossetto; her brother-in-law, Willis Boller; and a nephew and his wife, Richard "Dick" and Ginger Dossetto.

Rite of Committal and interment will take place at Lakeside Cemetery, Wakefield in the spring.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to HOPE Animal Shelter, P.O. Box 261, Ironwood, MI 49938.
