The National Finnish-American Festival Chorus preformed its annual Mother's Day Concert on Sunday at the Zion Lutheran Church in Ironwood.
Gary Schlais opened the concert with a few solo pieces on the accordion.
Under direction of Gale Hellier, the chorus sang several traditional songs from Finland with a focus on giving thanks to mothers. Susan Kontny accompanied on the flute, while Sandy Rowoldt played the piano.
Other soloists on the program included Dorothy Walesewicz on accordion and Susan Kontny playing the flute.
Coffee and refreshments were served afterwards.
