Bonnie L. St. John

PORTLAND, Ore. - Bonnie L. St. John, 59, of Portland, died May 20, 2016, at home.

She was born on July 10, 1956, daughter of the late Bernard and Ruth (Maki) St. John.

Bonnie graduated from Ironwood Catholic High School in 1974. She worked at Superior American Homes, Solberg Drilling, Insitu Corp., and was a vendor for Mac's Bar.

Bonnie is survived by twin daughters, Cathy and Carrie Milewski; sisters and brother-in-laws, Darlene (Dean) Perelli, Marquette, Mich., Dianne (Joe) Cayer, Ironwood, Mich., Barbara (Butch) Mattei, Tomahawk, Wis., Debbie (Jeff) Wasley, Ironwood, and Sandy (Dan Kusz) St. John, Ironwood; brother, Bernard (Bucky) St. John, Green Bay, Wis .; uncle, James (Dee Dee) Maki, Bessemer, Mich .; sister-in-law, Jeri Hjalmquist St. John, Ironwood; and nieces, nephews, cousins and relatives.

Besides her parents, Bonnie was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Bruno and Taimi Maki; and paternal grandparents, George and Anna St. John.

Cremation has taken place.

Bonnie's family will receive relatives and friends at Manny's on Saturday, Aug. 6, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Deacon Robert Hamen will have a blessing service at 11 a.m. Family will receive visitors and guests at 10:30 a.m.

Inurnment will be in Bessemer Cemetery.

Bonnie had a personality where once you met her, you would never forget her.
