Donald W. Pirk

IRON BELT, Wis. — Donald W. Pirk, 64, of Iron Belt, died on Monday, Sept. 12, 2016, in Iron Belt.

He was born June 22, 1952, in Burlington, the son of the late Leslie and Marion (Normolle) Pirk.

Don grew up and attended schools in the Burlington area. He was a self-employed accountant for many years and most recently worked for Walmart in Ironwood in the accounting department. He was a very proud and active member and former District Governor of the Hurley Lions Club. Don thought of the Lions members as members of his family.

He is survived by his sister, Sharon Ludtke Wagner, of Wausau; his niece, Cheryl Fiel, of Gleeson; and a sister, Sandra Lui, of Jacksonville, Fla.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Per Donald’s wishes, cremation has taken place and no services will be held.
