Judith Lee Beling

WORCESTER, Mass. - Judith Lee Beling, 60, formerly of White Pine, Mich., passed away Thursday afternoon Oct. 13, 2016, from complications of Multiple Sclerosis.

Judy was born on Aug. 10, 1956, in Fairbanks, Alaska, a daughter of Lucille (Zanetti) and Raymond Beling. She spent her early years on Eielson Air Force Base outside of Fairbanks and her family moved to White Pine in 1969, where she attended White Pine High School and graduated in 1974.

Judy attended Michigan Technological University and Suomi College. She worked at Michigan Tech in the athletics department ticket office, and in 1984 Judy moved to Massachusetts, where she lived for 32 years. While in Massachusetts, she worked in the trust department for Bank of New England and for the Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles.

Judy is survived by her parents, Raymond and Lucille Beling, of White Pine; her sister, Sandra Dowd and her husband, Peter, of North Attleboro; aunt and uncle, Marsha and Norman Toth, of Gwinn, Mich., and Wakefield, Mich .; aunt, Kathryn "Katy" Zanetti, of Ishpeming, Mich., and Bessemer, Mich .; and numerous cousins.

A private service and interment for Judy will take place at a later date at Lakeside Cemetery, Wakefield.

Judy loved animals and memorial contributions in her name can be made to the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (MSPCA), 350 S. Huntington Ave., Boston, MA 02130.

Jerald Rocco, owner and manager of Lakeside Memorial Chapel Inc., in Wakefield, is assisting the family.
