Ironwood - The Ironwood Historical Theater was packed for the second night in a row for the HIT Idol Performance Finalist announcement as well as a performance from Jessica Meuse. Meuse was a finalist on season 13 of American Idol.

The show opened with a number performed by the entire group.

Finalists from the 2015 performance came on stage to announce the 2016 winners. This year's winners were: 5th grade Cynthea Palm of Ironwood, 7th Grade Cassi Bordner of Hurley, 9th Grade Eddie Carrothers of Ewen-Trout Creek, 12th Grade Vanessa Nasi of Ironwood, and from the adult category, Kate Averitt and Madison Stomberg of Ironwood.

After the winners were announced, each finalist came on stage to sing a solo song from the previous night.

Meuse sang several well-known songs as well as some of her own original songs for the show. At one point, the crowd even joined in for a rendition of the popular song "Pumped up Kicks" by Foster the People.

At the end of the show Meuse had a message for the group of performers. "I've hung out with you all and watched how you guys treat each other," said Meuse. "Thank you for being such nice people. Don't lose that and don't ever quit being yourselves. If you love to sing, if you love to play, just do it."

Meuse also thanked those parents and caregivers who brought their children to the performance "Thank you for nurturing their creativity and supporting them because, there needs to be more of that in this world."

For the grand finale, Meuse did a song with the entire group of young performers.
