William 'Bill' James Marvin

IRONWOOD, Mich. - William "Bill" James Marvin, 63, closed the book on his time with us at home in Ironwood on Friday, Nov. 18, 2016.

Bill was born on April 29, 1953, in Superior, Wis., to Edward and Mildred Marvin. Bill graduated high school in Superior, class of 1971, and attended college at WITI for electronics. On June 30, 1984, Bill married the love of his life, Becky (VanDerSchaegen), in Montreal, Wis. Bill loved spending time with his grandchildren and cats. He also loved Coca-Cola, animals, pizza, pickles, burgers and the Green Bay Packers. He enjoyed many hobbies, including collecting old coins and stamps, metal detecting, astronomy, playing guitar, politics and fixing ham radios.
