Todd M. Westeen

IRONWOOD, Mich. — Todd M. Westeen, 51, of Ironwood, former long-time Bessemer resident, died on Saturday, Dec. 17, 2016, at home.

He was born Nov. 30, 1965, in Wakefield, the son of the late Gerald and Patricia (Matonich) Westeen.

He had attended Bessemer Schools, graduating from the A.D. Johnston High School with the class of 1984. Todd was an avid Green Bay Packers fan. For many years, he was employed at H & M Construction in Mercer. More recently, he was the owner/operator of TMW Contracting.

Todd is survived by two sons, Josh Westeen, of Neenah, Wis., and Justin Westeen, of Bessemer; his daughter, Amanda Balduc, of Kalamazoo; one grandson, Mason Westeen, of Neenah; a brother, Stacey (Tamara) Westeen, of Bessemer; a sister, Michelle (Mark) Sabol, of Champlin, Minn .; and two nephews, Andrew and William Westeen.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Daniel, in 2001.

A Celebration of Todd’s Life will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 23, at Frick-Zielinski Funeral Home in Bessemer.
