Mid-week weather to turn colder here

IRONWOOD — Following more snow today, the Ironwood forecast calls for a return of frigid weather throughout the week.

According to the National Weather Service, there was a 90 to 100 percent chance of snow today, ranging from 3 to 5 inches, but that will drop to 60 percent on Wednesday, when the low reading will return below zero.

Today’s high was predicted at 28 degrees, quite an improvement from last week’s temperatures that dipped well below zero.

Thursday is shaping up as the coldest day of the week, with a high of 9 and low of minus-13.
