Betty Lou Duncan

WINCHESTER, Wis. — Betty Lou Duncan, 88, of Winchester, formerly of Monon, Ind., passed away at 7:50 a.m. on Monday, March 20, 2017, at Avanti Health and Rehabilitation in Minocqua.

Born April 18, 1928, to Edward and Myrtle Nomanson, she was married on June 8, 1946, to James K. Duncan, who preceded her in death.

Surviving are five children, Jerry (Anita) Duncan, Ginny (Dale) VanMeter, Linda (Rudy) Owens, Karen (Chuck) King, and Joyce (Rick) Clem; 14 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Larry J. Duncan and Terry A. Duncan.

She loved living in what she called “God’s Country.” She loved spending time with her family.

Viewing will be on Saturday, March 25, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., with the funeral immediately following, at Sheets Funeral Home, 604 East Commercial Avenue, in Lowell, Ind.
