Sandra M. 'Sandy' Clement

 

SAXON, Wis. - Sandra M. "Sandy" Clement, 75, of Saxon, died peacefully Saturday, April 8, 2017, at home, following a brief illness, with her loving family by her side.

The former Sandra Koski was born June 12, 1941, in Ironwood, Mich., daughter of the late Margaret and Lindar Eliasson and Arthur and Celia (Shoppe) Koski. She graduated from A.D. Johnston High School in Bessemer, Mich., in 1959.

She was married to Kenneth P. Clement on June 19, 1964. They celebrated 52 years of marriage and happily resided on Spring Creek Farm in Saxon. Spring Creek Farm was established by Ken and Sandy. Over the years, this allowed her to enjoy her love of animals and opened her home to many people. Sandy volunteered countless hours to her community through 4-H and St. Ann's Parish.

She is survived by her husband, Ken; children, Susie (Dan) Drews, Karen (Tom) Beattie, Jim (Brenda) Clement, Joe (Cathy) Clement, Nicki (Tom) Wright and special son, Dan (Joanne) Hochstein; grandchildren, Pamela Romans, Davis Drews, Justine Drews, Brett Beattie, Mitch Beattie, Ben Beattie, Courtney Clement, Ashley Clement, Brittney Clement, Sabrynna Young, Steven Young, Chance Clement, Catie Clement, Caylee Clement, Cole Wright, Alex Wright, Emma Wright, Dana Hochstein (Goddaughter), Nicholas Hochstein and Nathan Hochstein; sister, Mary (Ken) Reinemann; and further survived by numerous other family members.

In addition to her parents, Sandy was predeceased by a son, Greg Panosso; grandson, Rick Drews; infant granddaughters, Grace and Amanda Clement; brothers, Arthur Koski Jr., Raymond Eliason, Robert Eliason and Donald Eliason; sisters, Loretta Vittone and Beatrice Alessandroni; and father- and mother-in-law, Joe and Gladys Clement.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
