IRON RIVER, Mich. — Jean Mann, of Watersmeet, went to be with the Lord on Friday, March 31, 2017, in Iron River.
She was born on Aug. 5, 1937, in Mendota, Ill., to Jeanette and Harry Burright.
Jean was a beautician, a farmer, resort owner, loving wife and mother and Sunshine Lady for Land O’ Lakes Bible Church. Jean had a smile and a hug for everyone she met.
Jean was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Wayne Mann; her parents; and one sister, Betty-Jane Claude, of Kansas.
She is survived by her sons, George of Michigan, and William (Brenda) of Minnesota; her daughter, Eva of Michigan; her grandchildren, Julie (Dave) Archuletta, David, Louisa and Joseph; her great-grandson, Gavin; her sister, Harriet (Lindy) Clark of Illinois; and her imaginary friend, Jerry.
A memorial service will be held at the Land O’ Lakes Bible Church at 3 p.m. on May 6, 2017, followed by a potluck. In lieu of flowers, funds can be given to the Land O’ Lakes Bible Church in her memory.
