BESSEMER — The Gogebic Miners co-operative football program, consisting of Wakefield-Marenisco, Bessemer, and Ironwood, officially has a head coach and three assistant coaches.
The school board agreed to hire Mark Mazzon as the new head coach Tuesday. Assisting Mazzon are Richard Matrella, Dave Lundin, and Joe Kuklinski, while a fifth football coaching position was left unfilled in the event enough kids turn out to warrant a fifth hire.
