Ironwood - Guests gathered at the Ironwood Depot Park Saturday morning to continue taking in the fun at Festival Ironwood.

Classic muscle cars, souped up trucks and brand new sports cars lined Suffolk Street, acting as an eye-catching entrance to Deport Park. The park was filled with vendors, food stands, a duck pond and a bounce house for the visiting guests.

The fun began with a Walk, Run and Roll sponsored by Aspirus Grand View Health System, and a pancake breakfast organized by the Knights of Columbus.

Also beginning in the morning were the volleyball and pool tournaments held on the park grounds. The pool tournament began at nine and lasted throughout the day. The tournament consisted of random partners being drawn for teams. Dan Muth, of Gile, Wis., said he was participating in his fourth tournament this year after taking second last year. His partner for this year's tournament was George Verbos of Ironwood.

Starting at 11 a.m., the Ranch Boys covered songs such as Mr. Bojangles and Bye Bye Love with a little bit of Elvis mixed in, underneath The Big Top. Following them was the Gogebic Range Band as well as a performance by the Ironwood Dance Company.

Other activities featured on Saturday included the Hidden Acres Pony Rides, a Strawberry Social, the Old Depot Car Show Trophy Presentation and Cruise on Wheels as well as more live music throughout the evening and the 50/50 raffle drawing.
