ASHLAND, Wis. — John A. Kopnick, 48, died unexpectedly at his home in Ashland, on Aug. 17, 2017, of natural causes.
He is survived by two young children; his mother; three siblings; and many extended family members.
A private service was held on Aug. 21.
John grew up in Bessemer, Mich., attending St. Sebastian Catholic School and A.D. Johnston High School. He received his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Michigan Technological University. For most of his career, he was employed as a certified public accountant in Ashland.
John was our dad, son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend. We will miss you greatly; we will remember you daily; we will love you always.
