Minnesota woman arrested after man found dead in Ironwood

IRONWOOD — A Minnesota woman was arrested Monday after the Ironwood Public Safety Department received a report of a possible drug overdose death in downtown Ironwood in the morning.

According to an IPSD report, around 10:22 a.m. two officers and Beacon Ambulance were dispatched to 111 S. Suffolk St. by central dispatch. The initial report said an unresponsive male at the scene was not breathing.

Cardio-pulmonary resuscitation was already initiated by someone at the residence, but “despite everyone’s effort, the male individual passed away,�...
