Suspected drug death leads to Ironwood man's arrest

IRONWOOD — An Ironwood man is facing a drug charge, following the death of an Ironwood woman that police suspect is related to illegal controlled substances.

Bo Menara, 36, was charged with delivering less than 50 grams of a mixture containing morphine in the wake of Angela Lynn Mylly’s death Friday.

The charge carries a potential maximum penalty of 20 years and/or a $25,000 fine.

The Ironwood Public Safety Department and Beacon Ambulance responded to a report of an unresponsive Ironwood resident, who was not breathing, at 6:24 a.m. Friday. The victim was later pronounced dead.
