Election registration deadline looms

Ironwood — The last day to register for the electors of the city of Ironwood for the November 7 election is Tuesday, October, 3, according to Karen Gullan, city clerk.

Gullan says residents can either visit the Secretary of State’s office or the city clerk’s office in the Municipal Memorial Building in Ironwood between 7:30 a.m. And 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

The November election is for the five city commissioner seats and two charter amendments. The full text language of the amendments may be obtained from the city clerks office.
